Brother and sisters,

Please come to the local meeting on 6/15/15  @ 9:00 am.

We will have 3 guests coming to the meeting at are running political office.   I know you're saying to yourself " big deal Politicians", but it is a big deal.   2 of the guests are running for fire commission for your fire department and they are running for the same seat.  Competition is good, right?    The other candidate is running for a Gig Harbor city council spot.   Yep, you called it! They are all looking are support for their campaign for office.   The candidates all know that they will need to come prepared to sell themselves to the body and they will need to ready for some questions from the members of the local.   I will give each candidate about 10 minutes for to sell and the questions.

Local members,  please come prepared to ask the candidates some questions from the local firefighters Union prespective.   

Jobs, Union rights, collective bargaining, budgeting, health care, future funding issues or solutions, management, risks to fire dept.

Volunteers, ect.
